Terms of service

PromptVault lets you browse, search and copy AI prompts, and — with an account — save favorites, build collections, vote, and submit your own prompts for publication. The service is provided free of charge and may change or be discontinued.

• Sign-in is passwordless, by email code or Google. Keep access to your email safe: anyone who controls it can access your account.
• You are responsible for the activity that happens under your account.
• We may suspend (ban) accounts that break these terms. A ban cuts access immediately; content already published may remain in the directory.

• You keep any rights you hold over the prompts you submit.
• By submitting, you grant PromptVault a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display and distribute that content as part of the service.
• Submissions are reviewed by a moderator before publication and may be rejected (with an optional reason). You can edit and resubmit rejected prompts, and delete your own prompts at any time.
• Don't submit content that is unlawful, infringes third-party rights (including copyright), contains personal data of others, or is spam.

The base catalog of prompts comes from the prompts.chat dataset, published under the CC0 (public domain) dedication. Attribution is provided in the footer as a courtesy.

Don't abuse the service: no attempts to disrupt it, to circumvent rate limits or moderation, to scrape accounts, or to manipulate votes with multiple accounts.

The service and all prompts are provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. Prompts are community or dataset content — use their output at your own judgment. To the maximum extent permitted by law, PromptVault is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from the use of the service.

We may update these terms; the "last updated" date reflects the current version, and substantial changes will be highlighted on the site. Questions: privacy@promptvault.app.
